Fabric celebrates 25 years in the business with a legendary entry into their famed ‘fabric presents’ mix series. Ever the showman, Laurent Garnier turns in not 1, but 4 different mixes here, each exploring what he calls a different strain of club culture. The first mix ‘House Odyssey’ runs from South Africa and Cape Verde to Chicago and back, tracing house origins and offshoots all the way up to modern day. Better still is the closing ‘On The Way Home’ which brings you gently into that good night with choice downtempo and chill out cuts primed for those bleary eyed early mornings.
