Defunct Bay Area based DJ remix service started by Cameron Paul in the mid-80’s. Well known for the short but highly remixed bridges later called Cameron’s Beats between songs on some of the issues! Vinyl, 12″, 33 ⅓ RPM, Promo is designed and signed as a reference on your choice of several exchangers file. One of the pioneers of remixing – Cameron Paul started mixing in clubs in 1977. Had his first radio mix show on San Francisco’s KSOL in 1983. Moved his show to KMEL in 1987 bringing his high ratings with him and making KMEL #1 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mixx-It was resurrected without the help of Cameron Paul after 2003 and sold CD-r’s of most issues for a time through the websites listed below. New remixes were planned but a release never surfaced.
