Retro: Active 4 Review by Andy Kellman: version of the Cures In Between Days, the 12″ mix of Blancmanges Living on the Ceiling, one of François Kevorkians many mixes of the Smiths’ This Charming Man, and the 12″ mix of Underworld’s “Underneath the Radar” highlight the fourth volume of Hi-Bias’ Retro: Active series. Several tracks in the series have been either tough to find or impossible to obtain on CD, so the label is in a sense plugging few gaps, rather than recycling the same versions of the same songs that you can find on dozens of thoughtless compilations.
